Caves Beach is in the Swansea peninsula near Newcastle. It is a popular holiday destination in New South Wales. The beach is known for the large number of caves along the coastline. Travelling from Newcastle is easy. It is about 30km’s from Newcastle and takes about 45 minutes for you trip by car. Traveling from Sydney takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes. The easiest way to get there is by car. You can find it by entering Caves Beach or Stuart Chalmers Park on your GPS navigator or smartphone. Parking is free, there are two car parks available near the beach. The first is at Stuart Chalmers Park, the second is at the top of the cliffs with access from Caves Beach Road.
